Reginald PopeReginald H. Pope, CBV, FCA

A native to Timmins, Ontario, Reginald Pope is the senior partner at Ross, Pope & Company. He first joined the firm in 1937, twelve years after the Ross, Pope office officially opened its doors. In 1940, he left the accounting profession to serve overseas in the R.C.A.F. during the World War II. He then returned in 1945 where he went back to work, finished his education, received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1948 and became partner in 1951. He then proceeded to further his education and received his Chartered Business Valuators designation in 1974. Reg has extensive experience in accounting, auditing, acquisitions and dispositions, management, investment, taxation, estate planning and business valuations. He has acted as financial consultant to various municipal associations, was a member of the Advisory Board of Fednor for a period of six years, and served on the boards of a number of local charities. He was one of the founding directors of Northland Trust Co., which after several years of operations in various locations in Northern Ontario, was acquired by Canada Trust. He was also a director and officer of Canadian Jamieson Mines Limited.

Ehor graduated from the University of Windsor in 1972 with his Bachelor of Commerce Degree. He then proceeded to earn his Certified Management Accounting designation in 1975 while working at a government organization. He then joined Thorne Riddell, a predecessor of KPMG in Toronto, Ontario and earned his Chartered Accountant designation in 1976. With a great deal of varied experience under his belt, he returned to Northern Ontario and accepted a job with Ross, Pope & Company where he became a partner in 1981. Ehor has served as a member of Council for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, numerous Institute committees and local charitable organizations. He has extensive experience with profit oriented companies, personal taxation, not-for-profit organizations, First Nations organizations and municipalities.Ehor is also the Complaints Officer pursuant to our Quality Assurance procedures.


Ruth ParisiRuth E. Parisi, MBA, CA

Ruth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Secretarial and Administrative Studies from the University of Western Ontario in 1975, a Masters degree in Business Administration from York University in 1978 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1981. She started working for Ross, Pope & Company in 1978 and became a partner in 1984. Over the years, she has served on a number of volunteer boards in the community. She is still active as a member of the Legal Aid Committee and has recently completed a ten-year term on the Appeals Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accounts of Ontario. For the last two years of her term, she chaired the provincial committee. She has extensive experience in various not-for-profit organizations, credit-unions, profit-oriented companies and personal taxation. Ruth is also the Independence Leader pursuant to our Quality Assurance procedures.


Joseph ParisiJoseph J. Parisi, MBA, CA

Joe graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Urban Studies from the University of Toronto in 1975, a Masters degree in Business Administration from York University in 1978 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1981. In January of 2002, he completed the RAN ONE business consulting program. He started working for Ross, Pope & Company in 1978 and became partner in 1984. Joe has served on the boards of a number of local charities, was a past president of the Cochrane District CA Association, a member of the Campaign Cabinet for the Porcupine United Way for two years, and served on the Application Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario for three years. He is presently a member of the Timmins Chamber of Commerce. Joe has also served as a hockey coach for ten years. During that time, he also served as treasurer of the Timmins Midget Hockey League. Joe has extensive experience in profit oriented companies, not-for-profit organizations, municipalities and personal taxation.


Bonnie FosterBonnie C. Foster, B Math, FCA

Bonnie attained her degree in Mathematics from the University of Waterloo in 1977 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1984. She also completed an in-depth tax course with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1991. She was invited to join the firm of Ross, Pope & Company as partner in February 1993. She has been in public practice for over thirty years in her home town of Timmins, Ontario. Her professional history includes involvement with local, regional and national accounting firms. She has extensive experience in auditing, accounting, taxation, and financial planning. Active in the community, she has served on the boards of a number of local charities, was a president of the Board of Directors with the Timmins Chamber of Commerce, served on the board for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and is now an elected member of council for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario and is appointed to the Board of Directors of Northern Ontario Grow Bonds Corporation. She is often asked to be a guest speaker at business classes, career exhibits, retirement planning seminars, budget releases and many more. Bonnie is also the Human Resource and Privacy and Confidentiality Leader pursuant to our Quality Assurance procedures.


Mark Dell'EredeMark M. Dell'Erede, BBA, CA

Mark, a Timmins native, graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. His career at Ross, Pope & Company started in 1988 as a summer student and resumed full-time after obtaining his degree. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993 and by 1998 became the firm's youngest partner. Mark services a wide range of clients throughout the north including large and small profit-oriented businesses, municipalities, First Nations organizations and junior mining companies. He has acted as director of several non-profit organizations was the President of the Cochrane District CA Association and is presently serving on the board of a local children's athletic organization. Mark is also the Conflict of Interest Leader pursuant to our Quality Assurance procedures.


Tom GannonThomas P. Gannon BA, CA, CFE

Thomas P. Gannon is a native of Timmins who has a wide variety of life experience ranging from backpacking in Europe to helping fight forest fires in Ontario. After attaining his B.A. degree at the University of Western Ontario, Tom began work at the Ross, Pope Timmins office in 1979 earning his C.A. designation in 1982 and became a partner in 1986. In 1983 he decided to undertake a challenge and opened up a new Ross, Pope office in Kirkland Lake, Ontario where he successfully remains to this date. He is active in the local community and is still pursuing further education. Tom also attained his C.F.E. (Certified Fraud Examiner) designation in 2002. As well, he is the Partner of the Firm Registered with the Canadian Public Accountability Board, which makes him the Partner responsible of the audits Publicly Traded Companies. Tom is also the Professionnal Standards Leader pursuant to our Quality Assurance procedures.

Lloyd graduated from Laurentian University in 1994 with a Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree. He received his Chartered Accountant designation in 1997 and became a partner in 2007. Lloyd services a wide range of clients throughout the north including large and small profit-oriented businesses, municipalities and junior mining companies. He is active in the Kirkland Lake community, has acted as a board member of a local church and is currently serving as the treasurer.
